Villa Giuliana dates back to the mid 1800`s as part of the build of Villa Paola. It is located in the extremely attractive area of Monte San Quirico, approximately 3 km from the walls of Lucca and currently sits on 1 hectare of land.
The building is approximately 850 sqm and will be divided into 10 (2-3 bedroom) apartments ranging in size from 65 sq m to 100 sq m. Each apartment will be finished to a high standard with high quality kitchens and sanitary ware. Each apartment will have central hearing and a private are of garden. The area will be served be a large communal swimming pool and a communal tennis court. These facilities will be dedicated to the 10 apartments.
The current building will be refurbished in its existing style with stone and brick and any other extension work will be done in keeping with theTuscan style of the building. Each apartment will also have either an external terrace or a balcony to allow a small alfresco dining area.
The design and build will be carried out by the offices of Francesco Rondina from bagni di Lucca. The plan is to use local people and materials to ensure the best build quality and the best use of local resources.
The restoration will start in July 2007 and is planned to completed by December 2008.
Apartment B is a ground floor apartment consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms with a large open plan living area. The apartment measures 67.53 sqm and also benefits from a very large terrace area as well as a separate garden area.
